For nearly 10 years, I played an integral part in building the brand, image, social media presence, and storytelling strategy for the digital news brand, NowThis; hundreds of scripts, videos, and pitches — both successful and unsuccessful — allowed me to develop a keen eye and talent for not only crafting the stories I felt people should know about, but for the stories my colleagues were passionate about as well.

I’m most proud of helping build out the brand's TikTok pages and strategy, making it the most followed news brand on the app.

Over the last two and a half years, I increased NowThis' TikTok followers by 3.7 million, resulting in over 287 million views in 2023 by executing new, innovative content and storytelling strategies targeting younger audiences. This reach development led to the hosting of a presidential forum in 2022, being featured in a Reuters Institute/Oxford University report, and a study on the use of TikTok for news by Georgetown University. ⇩
